Unwhelming Letting Go: The life-changing magic of shredding

Document shredding may not sound magical, but Tanny Diaz has found that people experience everything from relief and closure to profound grief or joy. Join us for a conversation about how Tammy became a first-time entrepreneur and now helps other people grow through the magic of shredding.

BADASS BUSINESS WOMAN

Tammy Diaz is from Alcalde, NM and a single mother of a teenage daughter.

A graduate of Española Valley High School, Tammy holds a BS in Environmental Science from NM Highlands University and an MS in Geosciences from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).

Tammy spent five years at the New Mexico Environment Department and another 11 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), as a Program Manager.

In 2021, Tammy decided that she desired more job flexibility and the ability to do more for local communities. She resigned her position at LANL and purchased Black Dog Shredding — becoming a first-time entrepreneur.
